Tip: Edit notes using the overlay in Dorico for iPad

  1. Select one or more notes to show the Edit Notes Overlay.
  2. Transpose the selected notes up or down.
  3. Use the toggle to move pitch by octave, diatonic interval, or chromatic interval.
  4. Move notes rhythmically to the left or right.
  5. Lengthen or shorten notes according to the rhythmic grid value.

    On my iPad Pro, I find that I cannot move the “Edit Notes Overlay” with my finger nor the Magic Keyboard trackpad. Instead, I must use my Apple Pencil. If I didn’t have one, I’d be SOL! Is this a problem that other iPad Pro owners have noticed?
