Tip: The Hand Tool and the Marquee Select Tool

  1. By default, clicking and dragging across a blank part of a page draws a selection marquee.
  2. Use the buttons in the Status Bar to switch from the Marquee Select Tool to the Hand Tool.
  3. Use H to switch between the two tools.
  4. Hold down Shift to temporarily reverse the behaviour.
  5. Set your preferred default in Preferences.
