Following up on our successful #DoricoSwitchStories campaign a couple of years ago, we’re launching a similar initiative to inspire even more musicians considering the leap to Dorico. If you’ve made the switch and want to share your experience, join us in reassuring fellow musicians that transitioning to Dorico is both achievable and immensely rewarding. All you need to do is record a short video on your phone or computer, expressing why you switched to Dorico, how you tackled the switch, and the fulfilling outcomes. Let’s create a wave of inspiration for musicians worldwide—your story matters!
How to Participate:
- Record a Short Video:
Use your phone or computer camera.
Hold it in landscape orientation for optimal viewing.
Keep it simple – no need for fancy graphics or music.
Speak directly into the camera, sharing your story in about a minute or two.
- What to Include:
Why you decided to try Dorico.
How you approached the switch from your previous program.
Why it’s all been worth it.
- Submission:
Upload as an unlisted video on YouTube.
Or, send it via transfer sites like WeTransfer, YouSendIt, or a cloud storage link (Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, iCloud Drive, etc.).
Send the link to us at discoverdorico@steinberg.de by Friday April 30th.
- Include in Your Email:
Your name.
Your musical specialism (composer, arranger, educator, performer, copyist, etc.).
Optionally, provide your preferred social media handle for inclusion.
Important Note:
By submitting your video, you grant permission for its use on Steinberg’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms. Your contribution will be part of a marketing campaign in the spring of 2024 encouraging Finale and Sibelius users to switch to Dorico and give it a try.
