Tip: Easy instrument changes in Dorico

  1. Add a second instrument to a solo player in Setup mode.
  2. In Write mode, switch to Galley view to see both instruments.
  3. Input your music for each instrument.
  4. Switch back to Page view.
  5. Dorico applies the instrument changes automatically.

    I am a novice so if i overlook the obvious please forgive me. I am on this for half an hour now.
    “3. Input your music for each instrument.” This simple thing I cannot get to work nor can I find any help anywhere. I have two instruments now I want to toggle between them to input notes. HOW??? thanks for helping!

      @Nico: Switch to galley view, and you’ll see staves for both instruments there.
