Tip: How to erase the background of dynamics

  1. Select the dynamic, playing technique or text item.
  2. Switch to Engrave mode.
  3. Open the Properties panel at the bottom of the window (you can use the key command Ctrl/Cmd+8).
  4. Enable the Erase background property.
  5. You will also find Erasure padding properties for controlling the extent of the erased background.
