Every January, the music industry converges on the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, south of Los Angeles, for the NAMM Show. The show has been buffeted by global events in recent years – the pandemic caused the NAMM Show in January 2021 to move to a completely virtual event, while in the past two years, the show has taken place in June and April respectively – but this year, despite the horrible tragedy of the wildfires that have devastated parts of Los Angeles County, the show is taking place in its traditional January slot, and tens of thousands of musicians and manufacturers will wear out their feet and their ears over the next several days.

Lifetime Unlock in Dorico for iPad
You can also make a big saving on the Lifetime Unlock in-app purchase in Dorico for iPad. Dorico for iPad is free to download from the App Store, and has similar features to Dorico SE. You can optionally buy a monthly or annual subscription to unlock its premium features, which brings its capabilities to being the same as Dorico Elements. If you prefer not to pay monthly or annually, you can buy a one-off Lifetime Unlock in-app purchase to permanently unlock all current and future premium features. Normally, this costs about the same as subscribing for between two and three years – but during the NAMM Deals sale, you can buy the Lifetime Unlock for only a little more than the cost of one year’s subscription.
To buy the Lifetime Unlock, run Dorico for iPad. The app itself will show you a message about the special offer, but if you can’t wait to see that, open a project, and from the application menu at the right-hand end of the toolbar, choose Lifetime Unlock. This will show you a window from where you can make your purchase.
